Athens set to host the 17th European Geriatric Medicine Society Congress 2021

Athens will host the European Geriatric Medicine Society’s - (EuGMS) 17th International Congress on October 11-13, 2021.

This is Athens-Convention & Visitors Bureau actively participated in the bid procedure.

"The organisation and hosting of the EuGMS Congress in Athens in 2021 in person and online  is a crucial component for the future of Geriatric Medicine in Greece and will increase awareness in the healthcare community, among political authorities and in the public sphere on the pressing need to develop a geriatric approach to the health problems of older people with european standard" said Prof. of Geriatrics, Athanase Benetos, President of EuGMS and ambassador for the geriatric field in Greece.
