Technopolis
Technopolis City of Athens is located in the old city’s gasworks, an industrial heritage monument which has been transformed into the most vibrant multicultural space of Athens with more than 1,000,000 visitors per year. Concerts, festivals, exhibitions, performances, screenings, seminars, workshops, conferences and educational programmes are just some of the 900 events taking place at Technopolis every year. A Technopolis’ visitor can also learn about the plant and gas production through a 14 stops path recommended by the Industrial Gas Museum, attend workshops and seminars on entrepreneurship and new technologies at INNOVATHENS, discover the Watchtower enjoying the 360° view, pay a visit to the Industrial Gas Museum Shop and choose from a variety of gifts, enjoy a coffee, a drink or a tasty meal at the Technopolis Café and… play at Sky Walk, an ultramodern action park in complete safety.
